Job duties:
- Integrating the civil designs to the wireless network designs.
- Implementation of wireless infrastructure platforms & WLAN network topologies.
- Produce, consistent, high quality building layouts to be used designing WLAN networks.
- Responsible for drawing and designing wireless network topographies using Microsoft Visio, AutoCAD, Adobe Acrobat Pro and other software.
- Once the drawings are completed, adding them to the AirMagnet and Placing the Access Points in the appropriate location to make perfect design.
- Worked on Predictive and Passive Wireless Site Surveys using AirMagnet fordesigning of the wireless Access Points and to test the RF heat maps of the individual floors.
- Conduct the survey using the AirMagnet Spectrum Analyzer for the better design of the WLAN.
- Configuring and Managing Access points of entire FedEx locations all over the USA through NetDB whether they are active or inactive.
- Recording all the snapshot failures and responsible for changing the devices from inactive state to active state using Putty tool.
- Keeping a track of Forecasted, Actual, Indoor, Outdoor & Total number of Access Points required for the installation.
- Once the designs are done, responsible for creating Site Contact Information which includes the site profile, site address, time for survey, time for install,all contacts of Sr. Mgr., Tech Supervisor and Engineers.
- Used NetDB for creating Site Device Report which gives all the Information about no. of Routers, Switches, Access Points and Probes for the current site (API).
- Supporting the Site survey & design team for installing the new products.
